Tatiana’s greatest motivation is sharing the joy of dance and movement with individuals of all ages and abilities.

A graduate from the Richmond Academy of Dance’s Professional Program Tatiana trained under esteemed pedagogues including Veronica Tennant, Diane van Schoor, Edmund Stripe, Susan Toumine, Karin Averty, Mercedez Bernardez, and Curtis Foley. Her classical repertoire includes soloist and corps de ballet roles in numerous works including The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Coppelia, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet, The Sleeping Beauty, and Giselle.

Tatiana began her teaching career early and has excelled as a director, notably leading Canada’s largest student-run program at Queen’s University. She emphasizes continuous learning, holding certifications in Progressing Ballet Technique and Balanced Body Mat and Reformer Pilates, along with achieving Registered Teacher Status with the Royal Academy of Dance. Beyond dance, Tatiana holds a BAH in Psychology and Gender Studies from Queen’s University. Her interest in child development, coupled with her experience in roles supporting children with disabilities, reflects her holistic approach to teaching and directing. 

As Associate Artistic Director at the Richmond Academy of Dance, Tatiana is celebrated for her award-winning choreography and energetic teaching style, inspiring dancers to excel in both technique and artistic expression. She also founded RAD Rise bringing the joy of movement to adults through ballet and Pilates.

Tatiana’s career shines with a profound dedication to dance education, artistic expression, and inclusivity, making her a key figure in the dance community at the Richmond Academy of Dance and beyond.
