1. Information Collection, Use and Sharing
The Academy is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. This site is managed and updated by a designated data controller, a full-time employee of the Academy. The information we have access to and/or can collect from you is only that which you provide to us voluntarily through email, phone conversation, in-person or via the contact forms on our website. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
Your information will be used to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us and to notify you of information that pertains to this reason. We will not share your information with any third party outside of the Academy other than where it is necessary to fulfill your request(s).
When your child(ren) register for performing arts training with the Academy either in a summer intensive session or in the year-round session, you complete a registration form giving the Academy and the Richmond Dance Society (the Academy's non-profit parent advisory council) permission to communicate with you through electronic communications with information specific to your child and their activities within the Academy.

The Academy accepts payments in the form of cash or cheque only, alleviating the need to encrypt your credit card information. The Academy will never ask for your credit card information, either online, via email, over the phone or in-person.
Your information, once received online, is also protected offline. All information submitted to one of our contact forms is received by the Administrator who monitors the Academy's sole email address firstname.lastname@example.org. Information emailed to the Richmond Dance Society is monitored by the Executive Board who monitors the Society's sole email address email@example.com. Your information is only accessed when necessary to respond to your request(s).
4. How long we retain your data
We will retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required for any legal, administrative or security purposes.
