Kyle Vicente

HIP HOP

Kyle started his dance career at the age of thirteen and has since grown into a performer, choreographer and director. He has trained in many forms of dance including hip hop, popping, jazz, locking, contemporary, house, musical theatre and dancehall among others.

Kyle's performance highlights include For The Luv Of It, The Vancity Project, the Canadian Hip-Hop Championships and the San Francisco Hip-Hop Dance Festival with America's Best Dance Crew The Jabbawockeez.

Kyle is a member of the Over The Influence Crew and The Faculty who were first place winners in both the 2011 and 2014 Artists Emerge Competition and World Of Dance 2011 and 2013. The Faculty also took third and second place at Body Rock San Diego in 2013 and 2014 as one of the first crews to represent Canada.

Kyle has trained with The SOULdiers Company, The Source Dance Company and has worked with Celebrity Cruise Lines. Kyle and business partner Chris Wong run their own dance training program, Culturally Defined, a hip-hop based training company based out of Scotia Dance Centre in downtown Vancouver.

Kyle's desire is to motivate and inspire others to better themselves in their artistic fields and to see the passion that people put into their own creative interpretation.
