David Wang has a bachelors degree in Piano Performance from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and his Masters degree from Washington University in St. Louis, USA.

He was the music director and a professor at the Hong Kong Liu Shih Kun Piano Centre and a professor at the Shanghai Royal Music World. David also had the honour of being a vocal coach and accompanist at the Shanghai Opera House.
