Perri Lo: Accompanist

Perri Lo is a collaborative pianist and vocal coach, working in opera, chamber music, and dance.  A native of Calgary, she has traveled across Canada for career development and professional engagements: from Montreal where she completed her MMus at McGill University (‘11); Toronto to pursue an Artist Diploma at the University of Opera in Repetiteuring (‘18); and most recently Vancouver where she joined the Yulanda M. Faris Young Artist Program of Vancouver Opera as apprentice coach (‘18-19) and has music directed and collaborated with Indie Opera West companies. Aside from performing with singers and instrumentalists, she has worked with dancers across Canada at Ballet BC, l’École supérieure du ballet de Québec, and Canada’s National Ballet and School. Prior to COVID-19, Perri was sharing the new Canadian opera The Flight of the Hummingbird with schools and theatres across southern British Columbia. Since then, she has begun creating digital operatic content with new collective OperaBox Company, in hopes of keeping opera and Classical music present and alive.
