Jazz

Jazz dance is a constantly evolving form of popular and artistic dance movement danced to up-tempo music that incorporates a variety of elements and dynamics.

Jazz is emotional, lively, earthbound and funky. It is characterized by the use of improvisation, individuality and is influenced by rhythms and various dance techniques all in a fun high-energy atmosphere.  

Classes offered to: students ages 6-18

Levels of training: Beginner to pre-professional

Closed & Professional Division

Entered into by audition only, these programs regularly take part in international conventions and other opportunities to expose them to artists from across the globe alongside their expert training here at the Academy.

There are many opportunities to take part in local performances, competitions and events area available.

Graduates have gone on to perform with Cirque du Soleil, Bad Boys of Dance, various cruise lines, Broadway, music videos and entertainment companies.
