Stephanie Amurao

Stephanie Amurao was born in Vancouver, Canada in 1988 and trained at the Richmond Academy of Dance. In 2006, she went on to study at the Juilliard School where she graduated in 2010 with a BFA in Dance. Following graduation, she was a guest artist with Take Dance Company, and MOVE:the company. Stephanie then joined Konzert Theatre Bern under the direction of Cathy Marston. She remained there for two seasons before joining Ohad Naharin’s, Batsheva Dance Company in 2012. In 2014, she became a member of the L.A. Dance Project directed by Benjamin Millepied. Throughout her career, Stephanie has had the privilege of working with renowned choreographers such as William Forysthe, Emmanual Gat, Justin Peck, Aszure Barton, Roy Assaf, Noa Zuk and has performed various works by Martha Graham, Merce Cunningham, Jose Limon, Jerome Robbins amongst others.
