Masha found beauty in dancing when she started learning ballet at the age of four and that passion keeps her dancing and teaching today. Masha graduated in 2001 from the classical ballet school Lujo Davico in Belgrade, Serbia, founded on the tradition of Russian ballet and based on the principles and methods of the classical ballet pedagogue Agripina Vaganova. During hr education, Masha took part in many competitions, winning awards in the National Competition and Competition of Talents in Sremski Karlovci.
Upon graduation, she joined the National Theatre in Belgrade, with whom she danced a wide range of roles in world famous classical ballets such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Nutcracker, Don Quixote, La Bayadere and many neoclassical and contemporary works. She also performed for Madlenium Opero and Theatre in very popular performances as Wolfgang Amadeus, North Fairy Tale, and others.
Masha has toured across Europe, South America and the Middle East. Her long and successful career saw her working and learning with many famous dancers including Gabriela Comleva, Ljubinka and Petar Dobrijevic, Mary Clod Pietragala, Poll Lightfoot, Hose Martinez, Svetlana Zakharova, Vladimir Vasiljev and Gilbert Majer.
Masha founded her own studio for teaching children classical ballet in Belgrade in 2010. She moved to Canada in 2015, and continued her teaching career in ballet schools in Vancouver. She has committed her work to teaching, coaching and preparing students of all ages from the very beginning to professional levels.
